I founded Eating Wisdom after years spent wrestling with IBS symptoms, relentless bloating, and the frustration of weight-loss efforts that never seemed to work. Like many women I now support, I felt trapped in a cycle of restriction and disappointment—counting calories, testing elimination diets, and rigidly avoiding foods that always ended up back on the plate.
Every flare-up brought anxiety: would I feel uncomfortable at work? Would I have to cancel social plans because of tummy pain? Why, despite trying every “natural” remedy and diet, did the weight still linger?
That’s when something shifted. Instead of one more new plan, I made a simple, radical choice: to listen deeply to what my body needed. I gave myself grace, space, and curiosity—and began relearning how to eat in a way that actually felt nourishing.
That journey became Eating Wisdom: a gentle, holistic way to rebuild trust with food, soothe gut distress, and support sustainable weight loss.
