Sound therapy is a process by which a variety of instruments are used to produce therapeutic sound, using frequency and vibration, which has been shown to have a significant effect on your state of health and wellbeing. When an instrument such as Himalayan Singing Bowls are played, they produce a frequency and vibration, which travels through air and matter (much like ripples across a pond). These ‘waves’ of sound that are created, interact with the aura, the human bio-field, the neurons and brainwaves, thus affecting every cell within the body. During sound therapy sessions, you often experience a deeply relaxing effect, upon the mind, body and spirit.
Therapeutic sound allows the body time to rest and rejuvenate, as you are taken on a journey whereby the natural frequencies, known as ‘Brainwaves’ are slowed, as it should be when you go into a deep state of restful sleep, during which your body is able to begin the process of healing and repairing, right down to a cellular level, enabling a reduction in stress and anxiety, a lowering of blood pressure and an improved quality of sleep, leading to an improvement in your overall health and wellbeing.
The instruments used in this lovingly created 1hr 15 minute, deep relaxation will do just that and include Himalayan Singing Bowls, Didgeridoo, Native Flutes, Hand Pan and Koshi Bells as well as a variety of other earthy sounds from various types of shakers and the angelic sounding Kosmosky Tongue Drum.
